By using lighter style molasses and yeast derived from pineapples, Botran no.8 starts off with being a vibrant aged rum. By aging through a dynamic solera system, Casa botran can impart complex flavours through the use of ex-American whisky barrels, retoasted barrels and Olorros Sherry casks. The ages of the rum in the final blend vary between 5 to 8 years.
