For the production of Mezcal Bruxo 5 Tobalá, wild Tobala agave is used, which is 10 to 12 years old. The Tobala plant is relatively small compared to other plants and therefore it takes a lot to produce a batch of this mezcal. The land where the agave grows is managed by the local community and therefore several producers also use the plants.
