Derrumbes Guerrero is produced by maestro vinatero Israel Ríos Bucio in Coyuca de Catalán, Guerrero using wild maguey Penca Ancha (Agave cupreata). The agaves are cooked in an underground pit oven, milled using a mechanical shredder, fermented in open-air plastic barrels, and double distilled in a still that is made of a hollowed out higuera blanca tree trunk that sits over a copper pot.

This gives this mezcal an exquisitely unique taste with slightly grassy hints of cooked agave, cream cheese and green peppers. The finish is nicely rounded off with sweet notes of honey and ripe melon. All in all an experience you don't want to miss.
