This ensemble comes from one of the appellation’s most undiscovered territories. Maestro mezcalero Cuauhtémoc Jaquez delivers an ensemble with a blend of 3 different agaves: Tamaulipas endemic Funkiana and Univittata, together with Americana. The result is a high-energy spirit that feels sweet, dry and rich with multiple layers of flavor and aroma.

TASTING NOTES

The aromas of this mezcal could be described as 'funky', but on the other hand also bittersweet like a bitter orange. The fuller flavors of apricot, orange and dark chocolate make for a bizarre flavor combination that cannot be compared to its peers. The  Derrumbes Tamaulipas  has a medium-long finish and is a true delight for every lover.
