Equiano Original is the perfect session rum; ideal for for mixing, sipping, and savouring.
It’s produced in limited batches and blended and bottled in Barbados, by Foursquare master distiller, Richard Seale.
Bringing two rum purists together - Gray’s and Foursquare - means that Equiano is a 100% true rum, all natural with no spices, no additives and no added sugar.
Completely uncompromised, Equiano Original is rich and deep flavours come from the ex-Cognac and ex-Bourbon barrels that the rum tropically matures in, creating an exquisite, modern and matured spirit.

Nose: Rich notes of dried fruits such as raisins and sultanas combine with sweet toffee & butterscotch.
Palate: Delivers all the natural sweet notes of an exceptionally well-aged rum tropically matured in ex-bourbon & ex-cognac casks.
Finish: Equiano is a naturally sweet rum with no added sugar or spices, it has a medium to sweet ending with touches oak, anise & sweet pepper and dried bitter orange peel.
