TASTING NOTES

Nose : Fresh, gourmand. Spices (cinnamon, ginger, pepper), very ripe grape too. This is a large, sugar-packed ‘gros grain’ Muscat. The second effect on the nose is more liquorice-based and vegetal (undergrowth, wet soil, mushrooms).

Palate : Creamy, silky. Grape dominates here through its depth and fruity exuberance (pear, white peach, pineapple, banana). Develops into aromas of melon and stewed strawberry. A honeyed, peppery and slightly salty effect.

Overall : Tannic, closed. The distillate overpowers the fruit, triggering a renewed sense of liveliness and freshness. Bay and chervil notes begin to appear, along with juicy orange and candied lemon.
