MARGARITA

There are many people that claim the origin of the classic ‘Margarita’, going all the way back to the 1930’s. Whenever alcohol and story telling mix, the result is usually unclear.
However, seeing as ‘Margarita’ means ‘Daisy’, it is very clear where the origin of the cocktail lies. A ‘daisy’ or ‘sour’ style cocktail by mixing a spirit, a sugar and a sour.
Realistically many people came up with mixing tequila, triple sec and lime roughly around the same time. Although its history is debated, the end result is unanimously decided as delicious.
