MATADOR

Most people will know the Matador no.1 as a tiki style cocktail with pineapple juice created by Trader Vic. However, that recipe itself was an adaption from the 1937’s recipe by W.J. “Billy” Tarling who created the original Matador as a Tequila variation on the classic Martini, as it was quite common to add a drop of curacao to your gin martini in the 1930’s.
