La Progresiva is a unique blend of 3 aged Cuban rum bases. These bases contain rums that have been aged between 5 and 15 years. The master blender and her team have beautifully balanced the 3 and produced a blend that represents exactly just how good Cuban rum is, and will continue to be moving forward. Bottled at 41%abv, it is slightly higher than most Cuban rums and La Progresiva contains no more than 5.5g p/l of added sugar which allows for a much richer, bigger full flavour rum.

TASTING NOTES

The nose gives low notes of smoke and woodiness. There are oils of sharp, ripe citrus and stewed fruits. Sipped neat La Progresiva gives a full flavoured, full mouth feel and well balanced experience. The older rums sit at the back with the depth of woods and smokey notes. The flavours move through the mouth and give sweeter, candied citrus to the mid pallet and the younger rums sitting front of mouth. Due to the low sugar content, La Progresiva has a dry finish that builds and builds, It sits well and long in the mouth.
