The Scorpion Bowl is a tiki classic, created by Trader Vic himself in the 1940’s. Inspired as a communal drinking experience, a true scorpion bowl would be large enough for at least 4 people and served in a large bowl with straws so everyone can drink out of the same vessel. Because Trader Vic was so secretive about his recipes, the true Trader Vic recipe for a Scorpion bowl remains a mystery, but we do know it leans heavily on the rum and orgeat flavors to carry the drink.
