REGENT'S PUNCH

The Regent’s Punch was created for King George VI while he was still the Prince Regent of Britain, hence the name ‘Regent’s Punch’. Prince regent, and later King George VI, was used to a luscious and luxurious life and had his servant prepare this drink for him every evening. The recipe became quite popular among the aristocracy and remains to this day a rather luxurious event.
